THE 5 DAY INTRODUCTION COURSE
2026 dates: 11–15th May & 12–16th October
Location: Castelo Branco region, Portugal
Who is this course for?
This course is primarily designed for and aimed at people who want to become dog trainers or behaviourists. This course is also ideal for people who want to or already work with dogs in any field, who have taken on a challenging dog or who invest in dogs as a hobby.
Course format: The course is both theory and practical with lectures, a shelter visit and opportunities to train local dogs.
The day runs 930am to 4pm with breaks, for 5 days. You will need to arrive at your accommodation at least 1 day before the course starts.
Fees: £475 Payment plan available, get in touch for details.
There accommodation options (self-catered/Airbnb) nearby, please request details.
Travel: Fly to Lisbon or Porto then get a train or bus to the local station (which is 20 min taxi to site).
